Pickleland is great! 9 beautiful courts that are completely separate from each other! There are so many opportunities to play all week long. I’m so glad Pflugerville has something that the whole family can enjoy!

Courts: sturdy with spacious divisions, high ceilings, and good lighting (you won’t be blinded if the ball goes high). You can tell the builders did research on quality pickleball courts and executed it very well. Vibes: really friendly and accommodating staffs! Competition for open play is one of the best in Austin, so if you want some fun and good games, this is your place! 🙂

We proudly serve all areas of Austin and surrounding Elgin neighborhoods, including Country Club Estates, Elm Creek, Elgin Meadows, Green Acres, Saratoga Springs, and the nearby neighborhoods of Scenic Brook, The Pines, and Lake View Estates.
Elgin sits east of Austin off 290, with most pickleball within an easy reach to either the Bastrop side or the Austin side. Pickleland is your indoor option — 30 minutes northwest via 290 to 130 to Pflugerville Parkway.
Worth the drive? Elgin players who’ve made it tell us the climate control alone justifies the trip — when summer afternoons hit triple digits, our nine indoor courts stay AC-cooled and playable. Same in winter when a North Texas front drops temperatures into the 30s.
Beyond climate, the real draw is the level-matched open play. Pickleland runs DUPR-organized open play sessions across six skill bands every day. That’s the difference between rotating with whoever shows up at a park and playing in a session where everyone’s within half a DUPR point of you. For Elgin players who’ve leveled up past local courts, this is where the next bracket of competition lives.
Practical details: no membership required to walk in, guests start at $5 for weekday-morning open play, $15–20 during peak hours. Members get unlimited free open play. Paddle rental ($5/$8), open every day 8am–10pm weekdays and 8am–8pm weekends, free parking right out front.
Newcomers welcome — monthly Free Intro to Pickleball, daily DUPR scrambles to get a rating, and friendly beginners’ sessions. Coaches who’ve placed students at the US Open run lessons if you want to take your game to another level.
30 minutes from Elgin. Worth it for a real indoor session.
