Courts: sturdy with spacious divisions, high ceilings, and good lighting (you won’t be blinded if the ball goes high). You can tell the builders did research on quality pickleball courts and executed it very well. Vibes: really friendly and accommodating staffs! Competition for open play is one of the best in Austin, so if you want some fun and good games, this is your place! 🙂
Come visit us and have better games than the ones you are currently having! We have open play by levels and have extended hours of operation. We promise it’s worth the drive.

We proudly serve all areas of Austin and surrounding South Austin neighborhoods, including Bouldin Creek, South Lamar, Zilker, Barton Hills, Travis Heights, Tarrytown, 78704, Sunset Valley, Oak Hill, Circle C Ranch, The Ridge at Lantana, The Meadows at Buda, and Slaughter Creek.
Honest framing first: South Austin has closer indoor pickleball options than Pickleland. We’re 35–45 minutes north — past the Domain, past Round Rock, in Pflugerville. If you live in 78704 or 78745, your shortest indoor drive is probably elsewhere. But here’s why some South Austin players make the trip to us anyway, weekly.
The DUPR-organized open play structure. We split every session into six skill bands (Beginner under 3.0, Intermediate 3.0–3.49, Upper Intermediate 3.5–3.99, Advanced 3.7+, Premier 4.2+, Elite 4.7+) and we enforce them. So every game is competitive at your level. South Austin players who care about real competition — not just ‘indoor courts’ — tell us this is what brings them up.
The other reason: scale. Nine indoor courts on the floor means we can run multiple skill bands simultaneously without forcing players to wait between rotations. So your two-hour session is actually two hours of play, not 45 minutes of court-time stretched over two hours.
If you do make the drive: the easy route is MoPac north to 183 east to I-35 north to Pflugerville Parkway. Avoid I-35 south of downtown during rush hours. Coming home at 9pm is empty roads.
Practical details: $5 weekday-morning open play guest fee (the best in the metro), no membership required, paddle rental ($5/$8), free parking, mezzanine with WiFi for between-match work. Open every day 8am–10pm weekdays, 8am–8pm weekends.
Not for everyone in South Austin. But for serious players willing to drive, worth it.
