Comparing paddles: common questions

How do I compare two pickleball paddles?

Pick up to three paddles from the menus. The table lines up their weight, dimensions, handle, grip, core and materials, and shows how far each number sits from the first paddle. The link in your address bar updates as you choose, so you can share the comparison.

Which specs matter most when choosing a paddle?

Start with shape and core thickness, because they set the paddle's character: reach against forgiveness, and pop against control. Then check weight and handle length for comfort. A two-handed backhand usually wants a handle of about 5.5 inches or more.

Are these measured or published specs?

Published. Every figure is what the manufacturer states on its own product page. Pickleland does not lab-test paddles, and the comparison leaves a dash wherever a maker does not publish a number.

Can I demo the paddles I'm comparing?

Many of them. Rent a demo for $8 at the Pickleland front desk and play real points on an indoor court. Each paddle's page says whether it is in the demo rack.
