❓ HOMESCHOOL FAQ

Homeschool open play questions

When is homeschool open play? +

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1–4pm. It's open play, so you can come and go any time within that window.

How much does it cost? +

$5 per person, and it's free for Pickleland members. Reserve your spot on the booking page.

Can parents play too? +

Absolutely β€” parents are welcome to play right alongside their kids. Adults pay the same $5 per person (and play free if you're a Pickleland member).

Can I just watch instead of playing? +

Yes β€” spectators watch for free. The $5 only applies to people who play, so you can drop in to watch your kids at no charge.

How old do kids need to be? +

Kids 5 and up are welcome to play, with adult supervision required. Younger siblings are welcome to come along and hang out β€” there's Jenga and ping pong on site.

Do I need to bring a paddle? +

Paddles are not included, so bring your own if you have one. If not, you can rent a paddle for $5 at the front desk. Balls are provided.

Is there a coach or instructor? +

No β€” this is casual, self-directed open play, not a coached class. Families organize their own games, and parents are welcome to play alongside their kids. If you'd like structured instruction, take a look at our Junior Academy or lessons.

Where is it held? +

At Pickleland's indoor facility β€” 21427 Martin Lane, Pflugerville, TX 78660. The courts are climate-controlled, so play runs rain or shine.
