Beginner lesson questions
Do I need any experience to take a beginner pickleball lesson? +
None at all. Our beginner lesson is built for total first-timers — we cover the rules, basic strokes, and scoring from scratch, and everyone plays a real game by the end of class.
Do I need to bring my own paddle? +
You don't have to. If you don't own one, paddles are available to rent for $5 at the front desk — plenty of beginners rent for their first few classes before buying their own.
What should I wear and bring? +
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and non-marking court or athletic shoes. There's a water fountain on site, plus sports drinks and snacks available for purchase. Balls are included — paddle rentals are $5 if you need one.
Where is the beginner lesson held? +
At Pickleland's indoor facility — 21427 Martin Lane, Pflugerville, TX 78660. All courts are climate-controlled, so lessons run rain or shine.
