Buy it if
- You want a thicker core. At 16 mm it sits at the thick end, which usually means a softer feel and more control.
- You hit a two-handed backhand. The 5.5-inch handle leaves room for both hands.
- You want some mass behind the ball. 8.1 oz puts it among the heaviest paddles we stock.
Skip it if
- You want the quicker pop of a thinner 13 or 14 mm core.
- You want the lightest, fastest paddle on the wall.
What players say about Pickleland
4.9 on Google from 918 reviews of the club.
I had a blast the first day at Pickleland! Met some new friends, played some competitive games, and toured the awesome new facility in Pflugerville! Looking forward to getting to know the community. Staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Courts: sturdy with spacious divisions, high ceilings, and good lighting (you won't be blinded if the ball goes high). You can tell the builders did research on quality pickleball courts and executed it very well. Vibes: really friendly and accommodating staff! Competition for open play is one of the best in Austin, so if you want some fun and good games, this is your place!
The indoor pickleball courts here are fantastic! The lighting is excellent. The open play system is very organized, allowing you to easily find games and partners to play with. Overall, this is an outstanding indoor pickleball facility.
