Austin’s pickleball scene keeps growing, and 2026 is bringing a real wave of new courts — not just more of the same clubs expanding a bay or two, but entirely new facilities from three different operators. Here’s what’s actually confirmed for each one, sourced to the operators’ own sites and local reporting, plus what’s already open today if you don’t want to wait.

1. PickleRage — Anderson Arbor, North Austin (Q2 2026)

Address: 13435 N US Highway 183, Austin, TX 78750 (Anderson Arbor shopping center) Courts: 9 indoor Opening: Q2 2026 (“coming soon” as of this writing)

PickleRage, a national indoor-pickleball franchise, is bringing its first Austin-area club to the Anderson Arbor center in North Austin. Per PickleRage’s own press release and its location page, the club will have nine indoor courts built on the brand’s pro-level CushionX playing surface, plus a player lounge, retail, and app-based booking and check-in. The location is locally owned by franchisees Dwarakesh Subramanian, Sai Talasia, and Sivanaga Kukkapalli. As of publication, PickleRage’s own site still lists the club as “coming soon” without a firmer date than Q2 2026 — worth a call or a follow on their socials before you drive out.

2. The Picklr Austin Oak Hill — Southwest Austin (December 2026)

Address: 7107 W Hwy 71, Ste. D1, Austin, TX 78735 (Southwest Austin) Size: 38,000 sq ft, 8 indoor courts (3 championship-sized) Opening: December 2026

This will be The Picklr’s third Austin-area location, and per CultureMap Austin’s reporting, it’s the chain’s first option south of the Colorado River — its existing Austin-area clubs are near Lake Travis and in Round Rock (the Round Rock location has since permanently closed). The new Oak Hill club is taking over the former Epic Fun entertainment space at the intersection of US-290 and Hwy 71, with 38,000 square feet holding eight indoor courts — three of them championship-sized — plus a pro shop and event space. Note this is a distinct new build from The Picklr’s existing, already-open Austin-area courts; don’t confuse the December 2026 opening date with a club that’s already running.

3. Rush — Menchaca Road, South Austin (phased, through 2026)

Address: 10037 Menchaca Road, Austin, TX 78748 Courts: Phase 1 opened with 6 covered pickleball courts, alongside padel Opening: Phase 1 is already open to founding members; general membership follows Phase 2, which Rush’s own site currently targets for “the end of 2026”

Rush is the most ambitious of the three — a multi-acre social club and nature reserve combining pickleball and padel courts with a restaurant, a one-acre beer garden, a two-story bar, and hike-and-bike trails, built around what Community Impact reported in July 2025 was a seven-acre site (Rush’s own site currently describes a larger, roughly 14-acre reserve as the project has evolved — the two figures don’t match, so treat the final footprint as still in flux until Rush publishes it directly). Community Impact’s reporting confirms six covered pickleball courts in Phase 1; older, recycled coverage floating around the web cites a much higher total court count for the finished project, but neither Rush’s own site nor Community Impact’s article confirms that number, so we’re not repeating it here. If you want current, accurate numbers, Rush’s own membership page is the place to check before you go.

What’s already open today

All three of the above are worth watching, but none of them are open to the general public yet as of late September 2026 — PickleRage and The Picklr Austin Oak Hill haven’t opened their doors, and Rush is still in its founding-member phase. If you want to play indoors this week rather than next year, Pickleland has been open in Pflugerville since August 2024: 9 climate-controlled indoor courts, rated 4.9 stars across 911+ Google reviews as of our last sync. Court rentals run $24–$44/hr off-peak to peak (members pay $17–$31/hr, with free member play on weekday mornings and weekend daytime blocks), and memberships start at $59/mo. Hours are Monday–Friday 8am–10pm and Saturday–Sunday 8am–8pm, at 21427 Martin Lane, Pflugerville, TX 78660.

We’ll update this post as each of these new clubs gets closer to opening and confirms firmer dates, so check back if you’re tracking one of them.
