The courts are free for the public to use but players like you are required to bring your own nets. Ascarate Park facilities offer a great open-air venue for pickleball players

2. Sunrise Park

Address: 11500 Edgemere Blvd, El Paso, TX

Located on the east side of El Paso, Sunrise Park has 4 outdoor multi-use courts for both tennis and pickleball players. Additionally, the court also provides night lighting for players who prefer evening play.

Like the court in Ascarate Park, players must also bring their own nets when using the court.

3. Mission Hills Park

Address: 3100 Parkwood St, El Paso, TX

On the west of El Paso is Mission Hills Park with 2 outdoor multi-use courts that could be used for both tennis and pickleball. Similarly with the two mentioned above, nets must be brought by the players.

Indoor Pickleball Courts In El Paso

1. Galatzan Recreation Center

Address: 650 Wallenberg Dr, El Paso, TX

It contains 3 indoor multi-use courts specifically marked to play pickleball. Unlike those mentioned in the outdoor courts list, the Galatzan courts have nets that are permanently installed and pickleball could be played from Mondays through Saturdays for various hours.

2. Grandview Park

Address: 3134 Jefferson Avenue, El Paso, TX

Also known as Wayne Thornton Recreation Center, this central El Paso court has 3 indoor courts exclusively for playing pickleball; nets are provided. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays are the specific hours the court allows for playing pickleball.

3. Nolan Richardson Recreation Center

Address: 4435 Maxwell Avenue, El Paso, TX

The 3 multi-use courts are available for pickleball players on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Nets are, however, not permanently installed.

4. Chamizal Recreation Center

Address: 2119 Cypress Avenue, El Paso, TX

Featuring 3 indoor multi-use courts, the Chamizal Recreation Center also provides nets specifically for pickleball. However, the courts are said to have a small boundary and players should be aware of the limited space provided.

Pickleball could be played in the recreation center every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 12 pm

5. Armijo Recreation Center

Address: 700 East 7th Avenue, El Paso, TX

Pickleball could be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 pm to 3 pm in their 2 multi-use courts.
