Here’s the honest answer for anyone searching for pickleball courts in Manor: there is essentially one court inside the city limits. The City of Manor’s parks list — Bell Farms, Carriage Hill, Greenbury Village, Hamilton Point, Jennie Lane, Manor Art Park, Timmermann and the Woodlands Nature Trail — does not include a single pickleball court. Neither Pickleheads (USA Pickleball’s court-finder partner) nor CourtSource lists a municipal court in Manor.

So this isn’t a top-ten list. It’s the practical version: the one court in town, and the places Manor players actually drive to — all within about 12 miles, most of them 15 to 20 minutes away.

It’s currently free to play — the listing notes it’s free until a gate and light fixtures are installed — and you can reserve it, but you need to call ahead rather than book online. Restrooms, water, food and drinks are available on site, and the court is wheelchair accessible.

It’s one court, so it fills fast, and there are no lights yet. Call before you drive out.

Austin Tennis and Pickleball Center — about 5 miles

Three indoor courts on a wood floor, with permanent lines and portable nets. Play requires either a Recreation Center membership or a one-day pass for the whole center, and the fee varies by age and whether you’re a Pflugerville resident. Courts can’t be reserved, and pickleball runs only during scheduled times — check the current schedule before going.

One outdoor court, free, lined on a tennis court with shared nets, and it has lights. Fine for a quick evening hit if it’s open, but it’s a single shared court.

Nine dedicated indoor courts, climate-controlled and fully fenced, open Mon-Fri 8am-10pm · Sat-Sun 8am-8pm. This is the indoor option for Manor players, which matters more than it sounds in August — Central Texas afternoons regularly clear 100°F, and every outdoor court above becomes unplayable from midday on.

Open play is organized by DUPR level so you’re matched with players near your speed, and there’s no membership required to walk in. If you’re brand new, the free intro session is the easiest place to start, and paddle rentals are $5 if you don’t own one yet.

Pickleball Kingdom Pflugerville — about 11 miles

Two free East Austin options if you’re heading into town anyway: Pan Am Park at 2100 E 3rd St has three courts, and Rosewood Neighborhood Park at 2300 Rosewood Ave has two courts with shared nets.
